In an interview with Lehran Retro in 2023, Hema Malini spoke openly about her life. She said that every woman wants to have a husband and children and live a normal family life. But her life took a slightly different path. She said, “Nobody wants to be like that; it happens. Automatically, what happens, you have to accept. Otherwise, nobody will feel like they want to live their life like this. Every woman wants to have a husband, children, like a normal family. But somewhere, it went out of the way… I am not feeling bad about it, or sulking about it. I am happy with myself. I have my two children, and I have brought them up very well.”
Bobby Deol’s Reveal: Dharmendra lives with his first wife
Recent emotional social media posts by Dharmendra led people to believe he lives alone. However, Bobby Deol revealed in an interview that this isn’t the case. He said, “My mum is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic. They love being at the farmhouse. They’re also old now, and being at the farmhouse is relaxing for them. The weather is nice, the food is nice. Papa has made a paradise out there.”
All about Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s love story
Dharmendra and Hema Malini met during the shooting of the film Tum Haseen Main Jawan in the 1970s. Dharmendra was married at the time, but his love for Hema was deep. Initially, Hema maintained her distance, but gradually, she too was impressed by Dharmendra’s genuine love. Unwilling to divorce his first wife, Dharmendra converted to Islam and married Hema Malini in 1980. They subsequently married according to Hema’s traditional Iyengar tradition.
