Sufiyan shared a video online where he was praying for the saint, which drew angry reactions from a few individuals demanding that he take it down. However, the man has not taken the video down and continues to stand for Hindu-Muslim unity.

Sant Premanand Ji Maharaj of Mathura-Vrindavan has been suffering from kidney-related issues and is undergoing treatment at the Shri Radhehit Kelikunj Ashram. The news of his ill health spread, and prayers for his recovery were made across the country by his devotees. Among those prayers, Sufiyan Allahabadi’s stood out. His video was recorded in Madina, and in that video, he said that he had prayed for the speedy recovery of Saint Premanand ji Maharaj. The video shows Sufiyan Allahabadi standing near the sacred mosque in Medina, which is distinctly visible in the background. With his hands raised in the posture of dua (prayer), he is heard saying, “O Allah, please make India’s great saint Premanand Maharaj healthy soon, so that he can continue guiding his devotees.”

>According to the information in the video, Sufiyan hails from Prayagraj. He explained his reasons for praying for the Sant in the video, “Sant Premanand Maharaj is a very good person. We have come to know that he is unwell,” he said. “We are in Khizra now. From here, we pray that Allah grants him health and wellness. We are from India, and we also admire him. He is a true and good human being.”
He further highlighted the essence of his act, asserting that “Hindu or Muslim does not matter. Being a good and true person is important.”
