Kannappa movie starring Vishnu Manchu in leading role has made it to the theatres today. The film is expected to do well at the box office. Here’s first day prediction.
June 27 marked the release of a mega-budget Telugu drama – Kannappa. Starring Vishnu Manchu in leading role, the movie is helmer by Manoj Kumar Singh. The movie is based on the folklore of Kannappa – a warrior who transforms into a devotee of Lord Shiva. Apart from Vishnu Manchu, the film also has the star power of celebs like Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and others in special cameos. Now, all eyes are on the box office numbers.

Going by the latest reports, Kannappa seems to have taken a good start at the box office on the first day. To IndiaTimes, trade analysts Ramesh Bala stated that the movie will mint around Rs 13 crore on the opening day. He was quoted saying, “I feel the film will do between Rs 12 crore and 13 crore on the first day. It has grand visuals and features big names in extended cameos. Vishnu Manchu too took to his social media account early in the morning to thank fans over showering love on the film. He spoke about the advance ticket sales and said that he is very happy with the response. He also made a post expressing happiness.

Even on X (formerly known as Twitter), Kannappa has received good reviews from viewers. Fans are quite thrilled with the visuals of the film. Some of the fans have found the first half average, however, the film picks up from second half. The movie sees Akshay Kumar in a cameo as Lord Shiva. Prabhas also has an important role to play in the movie. Reportedly, his cameo is almost 17-minutes long.
