Ibrahim Ali Khan BREAKS silence about being harshly trolled after Nadaaniyan failure:’It was a really bad film…’

Ibrahim Ali Khan, during the past few months, had not been showing too much of himself as he was working over his new film project, which he hoped would be a remake of the old classic movie, “Nadaaniyan,” but directed by Shauna Gautam and co-starring Khushi Kapoor. The film in the end failed terribly, and Ibrahim has already pronounced it as such, not feeling at all sorry for the movie that marked his fall from grace. Just one in the queue of directors and actors that have all pronounced the film as “a very bad one,” the young heir underlined the fact that it is bad and not too many people like it. “Not too long ago they were all waiting for my launch, and after ‘Nadaaniyan’ the hype has dropped really badly. They are trolling me nonstop. ‘He won’t be able to do it only.’ It’s a massive low… and I constantly feel bad about it. I’m just gonna go on record and say it was a really bad film.”

The actor went on to admit that he was constantly trolled after his film was a disaster. He mentioned that he had come to the conclusion that it had become the custom of the people on social media to put down a movie just for the fun of it. Quite a number of trolls did what they did without even watching the movie, solely by treading on others’ grounds. Ibrahim shared, “It was really bad. It became a sort of culture to, ‘Oh, let’s troll that film.’ There were people who were trolling it just because they heard that some other person was trolling it. That’s uncalled for but if I now give a blockbuster in the future, I want the same kind of response. They should go mad after me.”

In the interview, Ibrahim also admitted that perhaps he entered Bollywood too early. He said that he was only 21 when he started shooting for Nadaaniyaan, while most actors start at the age of 25-27. Ibrahim said that he did not take this opportunity lightly, but perhaps he needed more preparation. He said, “Of course, I was working very hard—like I’m still working hard on my speech issue. But in a way, I feel I must have rushed into that movie. I was 21 when I began shooting for it—others around me are doing it at 26, 27, 28—and I now think I could have been more mindful of the scale of what was going to happen.”
