Although the Saman Teri Kasam star is known for his versatile acting skills, this film didnot do much justice to him, mainly because of its poor story line.

Producer Dinesh Vijan stated that, while he has not watched Lokah, he has heard it is extraordinary, and that Thamma is founded in mythology, which distinguishes it from the other films.
