This marked the singer’s remarkable successful comeback after she took a seven-year-long sabbatical. The star’s 2020 Super Bowl Halftime co-performer, Jennifer Lopez, presented the Grammy to her, which created a very nostalgic and heartfelt moment on stage. Shakira dedicated her victory to immigrants and hardworking women worldwide as she accepted the award at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.

While talking to the New York Times, she said, “With every song that I wrote, I was rebuilding myself. It was like putting my bones back together.”
