Director Farah Khan recently opened up about her part in the launching of two Bollywood superstars—Deepika Padukone and Rakhi Sawant. Farah gave the latter a role in the movie Main Hoon Na and now she has once again become the light in Rakhi’s life. In the latest Hindi Rush podcast, Rakhi confessed that Farah Khan is the one who’s helping her rebuild her house in Mumbai. Just like that, during the promo of her new track, Zaroorat, Rakhi called Farah her sugar mummy and at the same time, she addressed Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, the godfathers.

While talking about her bond with Farah, Rakhi mentioned,“Farah Khan is my sugar mummy, godmother and Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan are my godfathers. I have no one, main laawaris hun. Farah ma’am gave me so many gifts, including a TV, a washing machine, utensils, and a pressure cooker, on Diwali. Mereko mera ghar banwake de rahi hai.” Rakhi admitted that Farah is a helping hand for her always and a helping hand for her to start a new life.
Rakhi elaborated that she came back to Mumbai after a gap of 3.5 years but her house was completely unlivable due to the damage done by time and the weather. She narrated, “3.5 saal ke baad main jab ghar aayi, toh mera ghar pura kabada hogaya, rehne layak hi nahi. Baarish main pura khatam hogaya. Toh Farah ma’am flooring lagwake de rahe hai aur pura ghar banwake de rahe hai. Meharbani hai unki.” Rakhi hailed Farah as the angel in her life and reiterated that it would have been very difficult for her without the help of Farah to even think of being that brave.

In addition, Rakhi also praised Salman Khan, calling him “the messiah of the poor.” She recalled that Salman had helped her mother immensely during her cancer treatment. She also revealed that Salman Khan was the reason she got the opportunity to be a challenger on Bigg Boss 14 and a wild card contestant on Bigg Boss 15. Rakhi said that Salman Bhai always supported her even when everyone else turned their backs on her. Rakhi thanked Farah and Salman for their support and said that they were her true godfathers who supported her through difficult times.
