The film is directed by an immensely popular director Mari Selvaraj and the main cast includes Dhruv Vikram, Anupama Parameswaran, Pasupathy Ramasamy, Rajisha Vijayan, Ameer Sultan, and Anurag Arora. The life of kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan is the inspiration behind the story of the film. Bison Kalayamandan has remained the same in its performance during the second week and has almost reached the Rs 50 crore mark. On the basis of the preliminary estimates provided by the website SacNilk, the film’s tenth day brought in Rs 3.75 crore, thus pushing the total India net collection of the film to Rs 49.85 crore. In the very first weekend, the movie fetched Rs 27.25 crore in Tamil Nadu alone.

Following a small drop in sales on the second Friday, the film then made a strong comeback on Saturday and Sunday with a 71% increase on Saturday. As reported by Sacnilk, the early estimation shows, on the 11th day the film will reportedly earn Rs 0.22 crores, making the total to Rs 36.37 crore.
The market where the movie is doing best is indeed Tamil Nadu. On Sunday, the average occupancy across all theatres and shows in the state for the film was 41.49%. The audience was more than 50% in the afternoon and evening shows, making that day the best day for the film since its first weekend. The film has maintained its position due to the positive response and the word of mouth.
