Popular actress Shefali Jariwala’s husband, Parag Tyagi has finally broken his silence as he addressed the media after the actress’s death as she suffered a cardiac arrest on June 28. He requested all to pray for his “angel”. Shefali passed away in Mumbai after she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. She was immediately rushed to the hospital in the hours between June 27 and June 28. Doctors declared her dead on arrival and her last rites were held on Saturday, June 28.
Parag Tyagi request media to pray for his wife’s soul
After Shefali’s funeral, her husband was devastated when he appeared in front of the media. He requested them with folded hands for privacy. He said, “Meri pari ke liye pray kijiyega aap sab log, please.” He was seen surrounded by police officials and urged everyone to pray for his wife’s soul to rest in peace.

A video of Parag giving his late wife a final kiss before bidding her goodbye went viral. In the video, Shefali’s mother was seen sitting beside her mortal remains and was crying inconsolably. Several celebrities including Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh, Shehnaaz Gill, Paras Chhabra and others attended her funeral.
Shefali’s ex-husband Harmeet Singh is currently in Europe and was not able to attend her funeral. He wrote on Instagram, “Being away in Europe right now, it’s painful for me not to be able to be there for the last rites.” He continued saying, “Gone far too soon. I pray to the Almighty for her soul to rest in peace, and strength to the family during this unimaginable time.”
Shefali’s preliminary reports suggested that she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest late Friday night and the official cause of death has yet to be confirmed. She grabbed a lot of attention as she became a national sensation in the early 2000s with her killer dance moves in the remix music video Kaanta Laga. She was later seen in 2004 Bollywood film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and worked with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. She even participated in Nach Baliye alongside her husband Parag Tyagi and in Bigg Boss 13.
