Actress and model Shefali Jariwala, who was best remembered as the iconic ‘Kaanta Laga Girl‘ died on June 27 at the age of 42. Her sudden demise has left everyone in deep shock. Several photos and videos from the actress’s last rites went viral on social media. Husband Parag Tyagi was seen kissing his late wife’s mortal remains, while her mother was emotional as she sat beside her mortal remains.
After the news of Shefali Jariwala’s death, her Bigg Boss 13 co-contestants Mahira Sharma, Arti Singh, Paras Chhabra and Rashami Desai paid tribute to her and also supported the family. Shefali reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence late Friday and her husband rushed her to the hospital. Doctors declared her dead on arrival. Visuals from outside the hospital showed her husband Parag in tears.

A day after her funeral, a heart-wrenching video of Shefali’s husband Parag carrying her ashes on Sunday, June 29 is all over the internet. Parag was seen crying inconsolably as he exited the crematorium and was surrounded by family and close friends.

After the completion of her last rites, Parag requested the paps to give them privacy and told them to pray for his wife’s soul. Parag said, “Please mazaak jhama mat banayega mai request karta hu bas.. Meri pari ke liye pray kijiyega aap sab log vo jahan bhi rahe khush rahe aur shanti see rahe.”
Shefali rose to fame with the 2002 music video Kaanta Laga and became an overnight sensation. She appeared in the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, alongside Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. She then made a transition in the television industry and participated in Nach Baliye with her husband Parag Tyagi. She entered Bigg Boss season 13 and grabbed attention with her past relationship with fellow contestant and late actor Sidharth Shukla. The two had dated over a decade ago.
