Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 60th birthday with great fanfare on November 2nd. Over 300 fans attended the special celebration held at the Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir Auditorium in Bandra, Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan cut a three-tiered cake adorned with a golden crown. His manager, Pooja Dadlani, whose birthday also falls on the same day, was present. Fans greeted their beloved star with thunderous applause and cheers. A smiling Shah Rukh Khan said, “You all are the reason for my every celebration.”

Why did Shah Rukh Khan cancel the traditional fan meet at Mannat?

Previously, Shah Rukh Khan canceled the traditional fan-greeting event outside his residence, Mannat, due to security and crowd-control concerns. However, he promised fans that he would meet hundreds of them at his official fan meet. The event included fans from France, Germany, and the United States. Before Shah Rukh took the stage, fan club members gave a spectacular dance performance to his popular songs, adding to the excitement.

The most memorable moment of the event came when Shah Rukh Khan took the stage. He was dressed in blue jeans, a black T-shirt, an off-white jacket, dark glasses, and a beanie cap. As he struck his signature ‘open-arms’ pose, the entire hall erupted in applause. Shah Rukh Khan performed the song Chak De! from his film Chak De! Sharing a memory from India, he said,“I did Chak De! India as a tribute to my father,” as his father was a hockey player.
