Bollywood actress-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna is once more in the news for her perspectives on affairs and relationships. In the recent episode of Two Much featuring guests Farah Khan and Ananya Panday, host Twinkle remarked that older individuals conceal their affairs quite effectively. She commended the younger generation for handling relationships with sincerity and free from emotional baggage. In one of the segments, the hosts and guests were asked to share their thoughts on the statement, ‘Older people are better at hiding their affairs than younger people.’ Although Farah, Ananya, and Twinkle agreed, co-host Kajol disagreed.
Twinkle Khanna’s statement
Shortly after, Twinkle shared her views by saying, “Older people are much better, lots of practice.” Kajol disagreed and remarked, “I feel younger people are much better at hiding everything about their lives, affairs.” Ananya mentioned, “Because of social media, everything comes out anyway.” Subsequently, they talked about another remark that said, “Today’s kids change their partners faster than they change outfits.” Twinkle once more agreed and explained, “It’s a good thing because in our time, it was like, ‘What will people say? We can’t do this.’ They are changing their partners quickly, and I think it’s a good thing.” “It’s much easier for them because they have no baggage. They are like, ‘This is not working. Let’s move on quickly'”, she remarked.
Twinkle Khanna and Kajol criticised before
In a previous episode featuring Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor as guests, the group engaged in a discussion about a long-standing question – ‘Is emotional infidelity worse than physical infidelity?’ Karan, Twinkle, and Kajol agreed that emotional betrayal wounds more, whereas Janhvi disagreed, saying that both forms of infidelity are equally unacceptable. Twinkle replied in a teasing manner, “Physical cheating is like raat gayi, baat gayi.” Karan added, “I believe physical infidelity is not a deal breaker.”
Janhvi quickly objected, saying, “Nahi, nahi. Baat nahi jaati hai.” Amused by her reaction, Twinkle teased her, laughing, “You’re young.”
Soon after the episode had streamed on an OTT platform, Twinkle, Karan and Kajol were criticised for their views.
