The series returns with Manoj Bajpayee portraying the charming spy Srikant Tiwari, who is now on the run and facing off against a new adversary, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat. The season also features Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, Nimrat Kaur and more. Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for season 3 on its social media accounts on Friday afternoon. The trailer starts with Srikant (Manoj) revealing to his family that he is an undercover agent. Simultaneously, we recognise that he has been designated a wanted offender with an active arrest warrant issued for him. While Srikant flees with his family, his loyal aide JK (Sharib Hashmi) assists him. However, he contemplates who might be orchestrating this scheme to implicate him. Enter Nimrat Kaur, the architect of Srikant’s demise. Her weapon is discovered by a threatening drug trafficker from the north-east (played by Jaideep Ahlawat), and Srikant now has to figure out how to deal with this emerging danger.
The third season of the beloved series took three years to produce, which confused many fans. Commenting on the date announcement for the show, creators and directors Raj & DK stated, “Over the years, the love and adulation that audiences have showered on The Family Man have been truly overwhelming. We know the audience has been patient, and we wanted to ensure that the wait was worth it—raising the stakes this season with even more high-octane action, a gripping narrative, riveting performances, and an elevated, edge-of-the-seat experience.”
