However, recently the show has also been making headlines for a controversy that has spilled into the film industry. In one of the recent episodes, three major popular contestants, Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, and Mridul Tiwari, were seen talking about the ‘fake PR’ that is allegedly done by Bollywood. In the conversation, they also shared their opinions about Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) recent romantic film Saiyaara, which starred Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. After the episodes, there have been reports coming out that YRF has decided to ban all three contestants from working on a film with the production house.
What is the controversy all about?
In one of the recent episodes, the three were seen talking about the “fake PR” done by Bollywood. They claimed that the popular videos of people crying in the cinema houses upon watching the film were fake and, in reality, were PR stunts.
During the conversation, Gaurav asked if those viral videos were authentic, to which Mridul replied, “People were even told to go and do all that.”
Gaurav seemed to be shocked by this and continued the conversation further. Ashnoor then agreed to it and even called the film a “one-time watch.”
YRF’s alleged reaction
Pretty soon after this, all of social media was filled with reports and claims saying that YRF had decided to ban all three contestants for their remarks.
It is to be noted that there is no official statement for the same. The news has not been confirmed by YRF Studios themselves.

The story of Krish and Vaani, played by the debutants Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, struck the heartstrings of many people, with fans even being spotted calling their eyes out in the theaters.
