Bollywood superstar Dharmendra has died at the age of 89. Dharmendra had been in the hospital for over a week after he complained of breathlessness.

Several reports claim veteran Bollywood actor and beloved ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra is no more. The icon passed away at the age of 89. The news of his death has left the entire film industry and millions of fans across the world in deep mourning. Tributes and heartfelt messages continue to flood social media. As expected, his fans are shocked. But they are also taking to social media to share fond memories of Dharmendra.

However, the information has not been verified by the family. Wife Hema Malini denied any such report on X (formerly Twitter). She said, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

Amid news of veteran actor Dharmendra that shocked his fans, the actor’s daughter Esha Deol dismissed reports of Dharmendra’s death. Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papas speedy recovery.”
