A similar scenario was when actor Govinda’s health issues and hospitalization news made rounds. His supporters were very worried. At first, the news spread quickly on social media, and then his good friend and legal counsel, Lalit Bindal, stepped up to explain the situation. He said that Govinda’s health unexpectedly worsened at home and that his wife, Sunita Ahuja, was not there with him at the time.
What happened to Govinda?
According to reports, Govinda had been feeling unwell since Tuesday morning. Lalit explained that he had felt weak during the day, and in the evening, he felt dizzy and disoriented for a few seconds, leading to fainting. He consulted his family doctor, who prescribed him medication. Around 8:30–9:00 p.m., Govinda took the medication and retired to his room to rest. But around 12 midnight, his condition worsened again—he began experiencing anxiety, weakness, and difficulty breathing. He immediately called Lalit. Lalit arrived at his home at 12:15 a.m. and, on the doctor’s advice, took him to the hospital. He was admitted to the emergency ward around 1 a.m. Later, after several medical checkups, Govinda was discharged from the hospital.
Why was Sunita Ahuja not present with Govinda?
The entire incident has raised questions about why his wife, Sunita Ahuja, wasn’t with him during the emergency. Lalit explained that Sunita had been out of town for a wedding. She returned to Mumbai late last night and is now at the hospital. Lalit said, “Sunita was not in town and had gone for a wedding. She came to Mumbai late at night and is coming to the hospital now.” His daughter, Tina, was also in Chandigarh for work, but upon receiving the news, she immediately returned and will be at the hospital by evening. He clarified, “She is also on her way back and will be with Govinda by the evening.”
Overall, Govinda’s condition is now stable, and doctors are closely monitoring his health.
