Koragajja music launched in…, wins hearts with…

The multilingual film Koragajja launched its music in Mangalore with grand celebrations, marking the first-ever cinematic portrayal of the revered coastal deity. Read further to know how the film promises to be a milestone in Indian cinema.

Mangalore celebrated the music launch of the much-anticipated multilingual film Koragajja, directed by Sudheer Attavar, amidst high enthusiasm and great fanfare. Jointly produced under the banners Trivikram Cinemas and Success Films, this movie is the first-ever celluloid representation of Koragajja, an immortal spiritual-cultural icon deeply etched in the folklore of coastal Karnataka & Kerala, personifying truth, justice, and divine protection. Koragajja is one grand film venture in six Indian languages, namely Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Tulu, truly representative of India’s linguistic and cultural diversity. The project attempts to bridge the gulf between regional stories and national appeal, making it one of the most ambitious film projects in recent times.

Soulful Music Released by Zee Music

Music in the film, released under Zee Music Company, features powerful and soulful compositions by acclaimed South Indian music director Gopi Sundar. All songs have been penned by the film’s director Sudheer Attavar, who is also a Sahitya Akademi Award recipient.

The film has an ensemble cast led by none other than the leading actor Kabir Bedi, playing the King of Udyavara Province. The leading ladies, Bhavya and Shruthi, are well-known in South Indian cinema and have prominent roles in adding depth to this film.

A mixture of art, belief, and performance.

Renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya brings his creative brilliance to the screen with a vibrant dance number, while celebrated dancer-actor Sandeep Soparkar makes an appearance in a different and powerful role, adding mystery to the storyline.

Behind everything, the film’s Executive Producer and Editor, Vidyadhar Shetty, played an important role in shaping the film and ensuring its perfect execution across multiple languages and challenging shooting and scheduling conditions.

Director’s Vision and Challenges

Speaking about the journey, director Sudheer Attavar expressed, “Koragajja faced several hurdles during its making-from location constraints to production challenges. Yet, the faith and determination of our team turned this vision into reality. This film is not merely a cinematic story but a reflection of faith, perseverance, and cultural identity.”

Grand Celebration in Mangalore

The music launch in Mangalore was a grand function attended by eminent personalities, mediapersons from all over the country, and leading luminaries of the film and music world. The event saw an overwhelming response, and the songs are being appreciated for their lyrical strength and melodic richness. A total of 31 songs have been recorded in six languages, created by some of India’s most renowned playback singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sharon Prabhakar, Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Swaroop Khan, and several others. This was a Cultural Milestone in Indian Cinema With its powerful storytelling, multilingual reach, and soul-stirring music, Koragajja is poised to be a cinematic celebration of culture, faith, and the unbreakable spirit of devotion.
