Goldy Brar’s Statement on the Murder
A few months ago, new details emerged about the motive behind Sidhu’s killing. The BBC World Service released a two-part documentary titled The Killing Call, which explored the case in depth. In the documentary, Goldy Brar claimed that Sidhu was targeted because he was allegedly supporting their rivals and using political influence against their gang.“When decency falls on deaf ears, it’s the gunshot that gets heard,” Brar said, calling the murder revenge for the killing of their associate, Vicky Middukhera. The documentary also revealed that in his final days, Sidhu was under immense pressure. He felt trapped by threats and had stopped responding to calls. Rumours circulated that he supported the Bambiha gang. But these claims contributed to the events that led to his murder.
