When Aishwarya was shocked to hear that she was removed from the film, but was even more hurt to hear that it was done by her friend, Rani. This made Aishwarya feel betrayed by her best friend Rani. However, Karan wanted to know more information on the rivalry and indirectly asked about the film and said, ‘Chalte chalte bata do.’ To which Rani replied that she had no personal problems with Aishwarya and said, ‘I have no problems with anybody, and I still like I don’t have any personal problem with Aish. I think may be Aish might be having a problem because she stopped talking on the phone. And I haven’t met her socially anywhere, but I guess when we will meet, I think we will be very cordial with each other.’

According to reports, Abhishek’s mother, Jaya, was not happy with his son’s relationship with Rani and didn’t like Rani for being too arrogant and loud and asked her to stay away from her son. As per Jaya’s request, Abhishek parted ways with Rani and married Aishwarya. When Aishwarya and Abhishek got married, she didn’t invite her once-close friend, Rani Mukerji, to their wedding.
