Actress and model Shefali Jariwala passed away on June 27, 2025, after she suffered a cardiac arrest at the age of 42. Her sudden demise news left everyone shocked. As per reports, Shefali’s cardiac arrest was caused by an abrupt and drastic fall in blood pressure. She was completely healthy just hours before her sudden demise.
Shefali Jariwala was replaced in The Traitors?
Bigg Boss ex-contestant Shefali Jariwala was selected to participate in Karan Johar’s The Traitors, which is an Indian adaptation of the internationally acclaimed reality series. The show features 20 celebrity participants and the unique concept of the show has kept audiences glued to the screens. As per reports, Shefali was confirmed to be one of the players in the show.
Reportedly, she was replaced at the last minute by actress Elnaaz Norouzi which came as a surprise to her fans who were eagerly waiting to watch her in The Traitors. Everything was finalised, but the makers replaced her at the end moment with another contestant. Shefali enjoys a massive fan following and has participated in Bigg Boss 13. Her strong personality and charming aura managed to win the audience’s hearts.
As per reports, Shefali’s physician disclosed that she had been undergoing anti-aging treatments for the past six to seven years. Her routine reportedly included vitamin C drips, a practice that she followed as per her close friend Pooja Ghai.
Shefali’s grieving husband, Parag Tyagi, performed her final rites with her family. Pictures and videos from her final rites went viral on social media. Parag was devastated and was surrounded by her family. Uorfi Javed, Anshula Kapoor, Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, and Apoorva Mukhija among others participated in the show. The show’s concept is a mind game between the traitors and innocents.
