Shah Rukh Khan welcomed the football legend at the Kolkata event and now, after completing his Kolkata and Hyderabad leg, Messi is in Mumbai. And guess who met the footballer? It’s none other than Kareena Kapoor, who went to Messi with his son Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. As the star clicked photos with the football icon, it created a picture-perfect moment. The photo of the same has been widely going viral on social media.

For the day, the actress wore an earthy-toned attire, paired with brown glasses. Kareena was giving full bossy vibes. On the other hand, her two sons-Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, were seen sporting Argentina jerseys. Notably, Taimur is a huge fan of Messi and it was quite evident through his jersey. Several celebrities from the glam world and sports came together to click a picture and flashed their smiles to the camera. Before her meet, Kareena also teased her fans by clicking a picture of her back along with her two sons, stating that she is going to meet the GOAT.

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan met the footballer at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. The video of their interaction went viral in no time. SRK also went to meet the star with his son AbRam Khan. It turned out that he is also a Messi fan, as he got an autograph from him.

On the work front, Kareena will be seen next in Daayra. The film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The movie has been directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Junglee Pictures & PEN Studios. As per reports, Daarya explores justice and societal realities inspired by a Supreme Court judgment. The release date of the film is yet to be announced. The principal photography of the film started in September 2025, with the final shooting leg to happen at the end of the year.
Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Singham Again, the film which also starred Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sara Arfeen Khan, Anushka Merchande and Dayanand Shetty in key roles. The film was released in theatres on November 1, 2024. It is currently streaming on Prime Video.
