Considering the blockbuster of the first film in 2015, which was a hit movie, there were quite a lot of expectations for this sequel. But the movie did not manage to reach a huge number of viewers in the theatres during the first weekend. Talking about the third day collection, the movie’s net in India was around Rs 85 crore on Day 3 (Sunday), according to Sacnilk reports. Day one saw the movie making Rs 1.85 crore, and on Saturday, the earnings went up just a tad to Rs 2.5 crore. Also, the growth was not substantial on Sunday as well. All three days combined, approximately the film’s opening weekend collection is Rs 7.20 crore.

Overall, a 40.27% occupancy rate was recorded for the Hindi version. The morning shows were relatively weak, with an occupancy of 9.45%. This increased to 41.07% in the afternoon, and the evening shows saw the highest occupancy at 59.70%. The night shows experienced a slight dip, with an occupancy of 50.87%. Despite a slow start, the film has become Kapil Sharma’s third-highest-grossing film and is now just a few crores away from surpassing Firangi.

In terms of worldwide collection, the film has earned approximately Rs 8.6 crore gross in India. In addition, it has collected approximately Rs 50 lakh from overseas markets. Thus, the film’s total worldwide box office collection has reached approximately Rs 9.1 crore. Although these figures are not very large, they can be considered average given the current competition.

That film’s total gross collection was approximately Rs 67.47 crore. In comparison, the second part is far behind and does not seem to be achieving the same level of success.
