Veteran Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon recently shared a post on social media following the recent Air India plane crash in Gujarat. On Monday, after boarding an Air India flight, she labeled it as a “new beginning.”
Raveena Tandon, in an Instagram post, recently expressed her condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate Air India plane crash on June 12th. The actress wished Air India well in moving forward and expressed her sympathies to the families of those who lost their loved ones in the accident and wished Air India courage to move forward. She wrote, “New Beginnings … to rise and fly again against all odds … to pick up and start all over, new resolve towards greater strength. The atmosphere solemn and the crew’s welcoming smiles, tinted with sadness. The silent passengers and crew bonding with unspoken condolences and subtle confidence. My condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. This is a wound that can never heal. Best wishes to Air India. May you rise strong again fearlessly. Jai Hind.”
In the pictures, Raveena was seen posing in various ways inside the aircraft. Responding to her social media post, many users expressed their displeasure with Raveena for supporting Air India.
Before Raveena, former Australian cricketer David Warner had posted on his instagram to express his displeasure with Air India. The Aussie opener reacted strongly to the tragedy and expressed his disappointment regarding the safety concerns for the passengers. The cricketer shared a post on his Instagram handle and questioned Air India’s safety protocols, stating that he would never fly with Air India again.
For the unversed, on Thursday June 12 an Air India 787 Dreamliner aircraft took off from Ahmedabad, Gujarat for its destination in London but met with an unfortunate technical snag which caused the aircraft to crash, killing 270+ people in the process.
