Telugu actor Fish Venkat is reportedly battling for his life and requires kidney transplant. Prabhas has extended financial help to his family during this tough time.
Veteran Telugu actor-comedian Fish Venkat’s health is currently said to be critical. The actor is reportedly admitted in hospital and is suffering from severe kidney-related ailment. He is in ICU since several days and requires kidney transplant. Kalki 2898 AD star Prabhas has now come forward to extend monetary help to Fish Venkat’s family in this time of need. The surgery requires Rs 50 lakh and Prabhas has extend the help to Fish Venkat for the surgery. The reports have been confirmed by Fish Venkat’s daughter Shravanthi.
Prabhas extends financial help to Fish Venkat
In a chat with OneIndia, Shravanthi has confirmed that Prabhas’ team reached out to the family and stated that they will help with the finance whenever the surgery is scheduled. She said, “Prabhas’ assistant called us and offered financial assistance.” Shravanthi has also made a heartfelt plea to big South stars like Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and others. The big challenge is of finding a kidney donor. She shared that nobody in the family is a suitable match and thus, now the hunt is for the donor. Fish Venkat has worked with some of the biggest stars in the industry, however, Sharvanthi stated that no one seems to care now while her father battles for life. She was quoted saying, “He has worked in such good films with all of them… no one seems to care about him now. I request everyone to please help my father.”
When Fish Venkat spoke about his health
Earlier, Fish Venkat had opened up about battling severe health issues. As per reports, he had said that diabetes has taken a severe toll on his health. He said that he had to undergo several surgeries as his leg was affected. He had even mentioned that both his kidneys have failed and he has to undergo dialysis frequently, revealed a report in Deccan Chronicle.

Fish Venkat has acted in movies like Sammakka Sarakka, Bunny, Bhageeratha, Dhee, Yogi, Malli Malli, Varudu, Naayak, Gabbar Singh and many more. In 2025, he appeared in comedy drama Coffee with a Killer featuring Temper Vamsi, Ravi Prakash, Siva Karthi and others. We wish for his speedy recovery.
