Actor Ram spoke about how his kiss with Sakshi Tanwar was the first on television. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain was running successfully for decades and became a household name. He said that he took it for granted that the kiss was Ektaa’s idea and should have double-checked with her.

He said that it may be that it was not her idea and during their meetings, a writer or someone else might have suggested it. Ram even explained that Ektaa, the producer, informed them about the idea of kissing on television which made him assume it originated with her.

Ram even acknowledged that Ektaa faced backlash even though it was not her fault. He further added saying that for Ektaa to get angry and say, ‘What the hell are you doing? It wasn’t my idea, and you’re saying it’s mine’ is justified. He even said that he took for granted as he found out about the thing through Ektaa.

He even praised and credited Ektaa for providing him a platform to showcase his talent and stated that he became a household name because of her. Ram even said that if he had offended anyone, Ektaa had every right to be upset. He said, I can never disregard what that woman has done for me.
Ram Kapoor on alleged ban from Mistry promotions
Actor Ram said that he does not regret being unfiltered and believes it is one of the best approaches because it comes from the heart. He even said that the mindset that he has has been instilled in him by his father, and he remains mindful of his words. He even said that he was allowing himself to be a brat and said that it is important to communicate thoughtfully. Ram spoke his heart out about his ban from promoting his series, Mistry, and said that he does not have the luxury of being what he was 20 years back and this incident has taught him that. He said that the people got offended, and they said something about it. He even questioned that who knows how many people got offended before them who did not say anything. He said that one does not learn from their successes, but learns from their failures.
Ram Kapoor on upcoming projects
Ram has three projects ready to be announced but cannot disclose their titles as of now. He said that there is a big film coming at the end of September and he is quite excited about the same. He said that he is working with a person whom he loves working with. He even said that he showed his pictures of transformation and the person called him first in the morning from the Maldives. On the work front, Ram is seen in Mistry, a web show which premiered on June 27.
