TV actress Dipika Kakar who recently underwent surgery for a stage 2 liver tumour cancer is recovering. The actress recently decided to go live and interact with her fans and followers. Dipika’s husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim keeps updating fans on her health. Dipika went live on her YouTube channel and spoke about her life after the surgery. Dipika revealed how things have changed post-surgery and said that she has not been able to make any vlogs. She said that she cannot move around with a phone shooting vlogs and decided to chat live with everyone.
In the vlog, Dipika said, “Mera toh na surgery ke baad aisa hua hai ke suddenly, everything had changed. It has changed a lot. Main joh ek jagah tikk ke baith nahi paati thi, yahan wahan ghoomte rehna, kuch na kuch khurafat karte rehte and suddenly I’ve nothing to do. Of course, the doctor has advised me to keep moving in the body. But there are days when I feel I just need to rest and do nothing.”
Dipika Kakar shared information about her next treatment
Dipika even said that her stitches are healing well and it has been a month since her surgery. She said that the doctors have decided on the future treatment which is a Target therapy and will start from next week. Dipika told her fans that during the oral Target therapy, she will be taking a tablet. She also said that she prays that her body is able to tolerate the future treatments and knows that there will be side effects.
Dipika Kakar returning to acting?
Dipika Kakar finally revealed that she would love to and had even asked the doctors when she could resume work. Dipika said, “Mera actual plan yehi tha ke jab Ruhaan ki feeding choot jaayegi uske baad I’ll plan, get fit again and get back to work. But ye sab hogaya hai aur iss tarike se hoga ye nahi socha tha. But yes, I would love to once the doctor gives me a green signal. I think ye aane waala kuch waqt mere liye bahot zaruri hai, bahot crucial hai in terms of my health because my body has to take the target therapy and accept it well. Once it done, it will be my new normal, then I can do everything with the new normal. Aisa hona chahiye…”.
On the work front, Dipika was last seen on the first season of Celebrity MasterChef India.
