Kuberaa OTT release: Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, Jim Sarbh, and Rashmika Mandanna starrer hit crime thriller released in theatres on June 20. The film was according to the audience’s expectations and received glowing reviews from the fans as well as the critics. Sekhar Kammula directed film reportedly minted over Rs 132 crore worldwide in just 16 days at the box office. After impressing people with his star performance in theatres, the film is set to premiere on OTT. Within a month of the release, Kuberaa will make its debut on an online platform, which the producer Sunil Narang has already hinted at. The crime drama will stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 18. The information was released through Prime Video’s official page.

Prime Video’s official X (formerly Twitter) page released an impressive poster of Kubera, revealing the release date to be July 18, 2025. “A simple man, and the not-so-simple journey of his redemption arc. #KuberaaOnPrime, July 18,” reads the caption. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release and are leaving multiple reactions in the comment section. Many wrote, “Looking forward to watching the film.”
In a conversation with Gulte, Sunil of Amigos Creations said, “Yes, Telugu films come on OTT platforms in 28 days, sometimes we drag it to 30 days. They have overtaken everything, and it all goes according to their will. I requested them (Prime Video) to give me a few weeks’ time and a July date because there might be a delay in post-production. They said they’ll cut ₹10 crore if I don’t release on 20 June as planned.”
What is the crime thriller film Kuberaa about?
The crime drama revolves around Deva Kallam, played by Dhanush, who finds himself at the center of a conspiracy. Nagarjuna plays a former CBI officer named Deepak Tej who tries to solve the case. While Rashmika plays Sameera, a girl left by her boyfriend. The story highlights the dark side of wealth and control, greed, ambition, and ethical struggle faced by an honest common man. The film has been produced by Suniel Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Ajay Kaikala.
