Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was one of the longest-running shows on the television screens. The makers are all set to launch a new season and fans are quite excited for the same. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, the new season will feature the original cast, Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, in lead roles. As per reports, makers have roped in some old characters to reprise their roles. However, there are reports that another popular actor from television who was part of Rupali Ganguly’s show Anupamaa will be seen in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The actor was approached to be a part of the new season. Guess who it is – Gaurav Khanna or Sudhanshu Pandey?
During an interview with Screen, Sudhanshu who played the role of Vanraj Shah in Anupamaa was approached for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’s new season. Reportedly, Sudhanshu is being approached for Mihir Virani’s role in the show, but the actor denied such claims. He revealed that someone from Balaji (Ektaa Kapoor’s production house) called him.
Sudhanshu even said that he was not informed about which role he was called for and said that he asked how much fees he would be getting. He said nothing more than that. Sudhanshu grabbed a lot of attention with his role in Anupamaa and his character received applause from the audience. The actor took an abrupt exit from Anupamaa for unknown reasons and fans miss him to date. The actor informed about his departure from the show through a live on Instagram and is now seen in Karan Johar-led show The Traitors.
Talking about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi new season will feature 150 episodes. The producer said that the original series ended when it was 150 episodes short of hitting the 2,000-episode milestone. As per reports, Smriti is shooting with Z+ security and the premiere date of the show has not been officially announced.
