Actor and Bigg Boss 18 fame Kashish Kapoor has alleged that her cook, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, has stolen cash from her house in Andheri, Mumbai. Kashish had hinted at the occurrence on social media for days, but when the news surfaced on Sunday (July 13), she released a YouTube video with stunning facts and burst into tears, alleging her family was unaware of the theft. According to Kashish, she had kept Rs 7 lakh in cash at her Andheri house, which she intended to put into her mother’s bank account on July 9. But when she checked her locker, she found that one envelope contained missing cash. She caught the suspect in the building elevator as he was leaving the apartment.

What did Kashish reveal about the theft?

“I told him, ‘Apna pocket dikhao,’ but he refused. I insisted. When I saw Rs 50,000 in his pocket, I realised what had happened,” she recalled. Kashish then described what happened next, and it was terrifying.

She said, “As soon as I picked up my phone, I was pinned against the wall. He told me, ‘Don’t call or tell anybody.’ I had to stay calm and said, Just get out of my house and never show me your face again.”

Kashish races down 20 floors after…

She attempted to notify the building security to stop him, but he managed to get away, Kashish revealed. Desperate to catch him, she hurried down 20 floors despite feeling extremely ill. “I was thinking, ‘What is happening?’ But I told myself, ‘You can die later—right now, you have to stop this.’”

Kashish lodges FIR but…

She went on to say that she complained to the police but was informed that there was no assurance that the stolen money would be returned. “There was no assurance. That’s the most helpless feeling—to know he robbed you and may get away with it.”

According to Kashish, she didn’t tell her family sooner because she didn’t want to startle them. She addressed the emotional impact as well. “I feel betrayed. Mujhe shaq tha, but no proof. He had the audacity to say, ‘Sirf 50,000 churaye.’ I still have receipts of the payments I received.”

According to reports, the matter is being investigated. When it comes to domestic help, Kashish advised viewers to exercise caution and trust their instincts.
