Dipika Kakar left everyone shocked when she announced about her liver cancer. The actress had stage two liver cancer. She was heartbroken while announcing this news. Shoaib Ibrahim was there with her throughout in this journey. Their entire family came together to support Dipika in this difficult time. They became her strong support and took care of her. The family was shattered and Dipika was worried for Ruhaan. She had her surgery for stage two liver cancer a month ago. The surgery was successful and Dipika has been doing well. However, her medications are still happening as the doctors had told them that cancer can happen again. Hence, they are taking no risk and following all the instructions.
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have been sharing all the updates about her health through their vlogs. She also said how she felt guilty that the family had to drop their plans because of her health and Shoaib lovingly told her that she is more important to everyone. Now, it has been one and a half months for her liver cancer surgery. She had a 14-hour-long operation where her tumour was removed.
Dipika Kakar undergoes mammography
Now, after the surgery, the actress has to get a mammography done. Dipika shared the same in her vlog. She even explained the reason behind it. Shoaib accompanied her for mammography and Dipika said that since she was doing Celebrity MasterChef in January, she was going through a lot of pain in her left shoulder. Earlier, they did not understand anything but later the doctor told them that it was due to the enlargement of the lymph nodes. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
She further said that later she was developing the condition in her left breast, and doctors thought it was the reason for the pain. After the test, it was found that she had an injury in the muscle. The actress added, “Mere surgery ko almost 1.5 months hoh gaya hai. woh pain ab tak wapas nai aaya hai. Esliye uss waqt jab humne mammography ki thi aur lymph nodes thei toh tab Dr Shweta ne kaha tha ki waise mujhe kuch kharab nai lag raha hai but ek safe side ke liye hum essei teen mahine mei repeat karenge. Teen mahine ke jagah zyada hoh gaya tha because of all this. Just as a safety precaution, Dr Shweta said Let’s just do it again.”
Well, we hope and pray that Dipika gets well soon and starts her normal life again with Shoaib, Ruhaan and family.
