TV actress Dipika Kakar recently revealed that the doctors had warned them about THIS post her cancer 2 liver surgery.
TV popular actress Dipika Kakar who is known for her role Simar in Sasural Simar Ka battled stage 2 liver cancer. She underwent targeted therapy after major surgery and is recovering now. Dipika and Shoaib Ibrahim keep updating their fans about her health. Dipika said that the doctors advised her to take precautionary measures and stay hydrated to prevent ulcers.
In the video, Dipika said, “Today is July 10th, I’m not feeling any side-effects but the side-effects may surface over few days.” She even said that she has to take the medicine orally after breakfast.

She even added saying, “Even if you don’t feel hungry, one has to take a proper meal from time to time. Besides causing mouth ulcers, the targeted treatment can cause sores on the hands and feet.” The 38-year-old Bigg Boss 12 contestant left everyone shocked as she publicly announced her cancer diagnosis in May this year. Dipika got her tumour removed in a major surgery which lasted for 14 hours.
Dipika’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that his partner has got mild ulcers on the tongue after receiving the first dose of the treatment. He even said that Dipika’s targeted therapy medicine has started and she is feeling fine after her first day. Dipika said that she was feeling tired as she went out and spent the day with their son Ruhaan. Dipika even underwent a Mammography test and emphasised how her health has been fluctuating since January 2025. She said that she was doing Celebrity MasterChef and suffered pain in her left shoulder.

Dipika added, “Uss waqt bhi kuch samaj nahi paa rahe the. Par pehla joh diagnosis tha voh tha ki lymph nodes hai left breast area mei the. Tab aisa laga tha ki shayad ye reason ho sakta hai”.
She said, “Second diagnosis jo tha voh ye tha ki left muscle mei injury hui hai”. She even said that whey they did mammography and discovered the lymph nodes, the doctors asked them to get one more mammography done after 3 months. She revealed that because of the stage 3 liver cancer diagnosis, her surgery and her recovery, her time to get mammography done exceeded 3 months.
The TV actress said, “Suddenly Ruhaan ko wean off kiya. Bhale maine tablets li thi suppress karne milk ko par voh halka thoda maine feel kiya ki thoda pain ho rha hai. Aisa lagta hai koi bhi risk nahi lena hai, pehle hi jaake karwalo”. Shoaib revealed that mammography has been done and the results are fine as he said that the lymph nodes have thankfully disappeared on their own.
