Pati Patni Aur Panga contestant Avika Gor spoke about her former co-star Dipika Kakar’s cancer battle. Here’s what she said.
Popular television actress Avika Gor who won hearts with her role as Anandi in Balika Vadhu is all set to appear on the upcoming reality show titled Pati Patni Aur Panga with her fiancé Milind Chandwani. The two are head over heels in love with each other and give major couple goals to many with their PDAs. Recently, a pre-launch event was held and all the celebrities and show’s hosts gathered for media interactions.
During the event, Avika and Milind shared their excitement about being a part of Pati Patni Aur Panga. In a chat with Telly Masala, Avika spoke her heart out about her experience. She was later asked about her former co-star Dipika Kakar, who acted in Sasural Simar Ka.

Avika confirmed that Dipika did know about the former’s participation in the reality show. Avika was asked about Dipika’s recent health condition. Well, Dipika underwent surgery for Stage 2 cancer and is on oral targeted therapy now. Avika said that she thinks they are quite open and regularly share updates on their vlogs. She said that she follows them just like any fan and keeps watching their videos. She even said that they occasionally exchange texts or talk on the phone and stay in touch. Avika was asked for more specific details about Dipika’s condition and she declined to comment further. She said that Dipika herself should be the one to speak about her health condition. Avika said that she prefers Dipika to give any health-related updates herself and said that they will continue seeing the updates through her vlogs. Avika also showed her respect for her friend’s privacy as she showed support towards her.
On the personal front, Avika and Milind got engaged in a private ceremony on June 11 after dating for several years. Pati Patni Aur Panga, is an upcoming reality show which will feature Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla and more couples in the show.
