Shah Rukh Khan fans were in for a shock when reports of him getting injured of the sets of King went viral. Yesterday, several reports claimed that King Khan has been rushed to the US after he sustained a back injury while shooting for his upcoming movie. All the SRKians got worried and began praying for about SRK’s quick recovery. Now, there is a contradicting report that has hit the internet. It is now being said that Shah Rukh Khan has not suffered any new injury and rather travelled to US as a part of his regular medical routine.
Did Shah Rukh Khan really get injured?
As per a report in NDTV, a source has debunked the stories of King Khan facing injuries on the sets of King. The rumours have been termed as ‘untrue’ by the source. The report mentions that Shah Rukh Khan has suffered several injuries in the past while performing high-octane action sequences in his films which ‘occasionally flare up again’. So Shah Rukh Khan often travels to the US for treatment.
Earlier, reports suggested that due to the injury, the shooting of King has been stalled. It was being said that it will now begin only in the month of September as Shah Rukh Khan has been advised rest. However, latest reports claim that the shooting will go as planned as King Khan will return from the US by the end of this month. Neither Shsh Rukh Khan nor his team has given out any official statement as yet over the reports of his alleged injury.

Abhishek Bachchan is said to be the villain in this film. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is also said to be a part of the movie. The movie is expected to release in 2026.
