CID 2 is in the news. The twists and turns in the episodes have left fans surprised. Recently, Narendra Gupta aka Dr. Salunkhe was put in the jail for being the ‘gaddar’ in the team.

CID is television’s most loved show. It first aired in 1998 and had a successful run for 20 years. When the show went off-air, the entire nation was upset. They wanted it to go on for some more years. All the characters from the show hold a special place in the hearts of the audience. The love of the audience made the makers bring back the magic on-screens in 2024. Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Ajay Nagrath, Aditya Srivastava, Ansha Sayed, Hrishikesh Pandey, Narendra Gupta and others returned with their iconic characters in CID 2. The second season is also a big hit and it is now available on Netflix too. In the second season, we saw so many twists and turns happening in the story.
Recently, we had actors like Parth Samthaan and Sanjay Narvekar entering the show with big changes. We saw the Barboza episode left everyone shocked. Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman was shown dead and then ACP Ayushmaan entered the show.
Dr. Salunkhe is back?
However, he had entered only to find out who is the ‘gaddar’ in the team. ACP Pradyuman entered and we saw Dr Salunkhe was exposed. He was the ‘gaddar’ who was helping Barboza. Post that Salunkhe was put behind the bars. The audience was shocked and disappointed as the makers ruined one of the best characters and made him the villain.
Everyone thought that Narendra Gupta left the show. But that’s true. A new promo has released where we see ACP Pradyuman, Dr. Tarika wanting an expert help to solve a case. ACP Pradyuman then says that he has asked someone for help and then we see Dr. Salunkhe in the jail saying that he always knew ACP will need his help.
While he is back, it seems he will be seen as the villain. His laughter seemed like that of a villain. What will be the new twist around Dr. Salunkhe’s re-entry? This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
