Amar Upadhyay talks about his bond with Smriti Irani, says ‘Hum acche…’ [Watch promo]

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is returning back. The iconic show began in 2000 and had a successful run for eight years. The nation was disappointed when it went off-air. People were madly attached to this show and even today, the love is the same. When Ekta Kapoor announced the return of this iconic show, the audience was delighted. Tulsi and her Virani family are all set to win hearts again. The producer also revealed that it will be a limited and episodes show as it needs just 150 episodes to reach the 2000 episodes mark. Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay will be back as Tulsi-Mihir. The show is starting from July 29 at 10.30 pm.

Amar Upadhyay on reunion with Smriti

The promos of the show have gone viral and everyone is getting emotional seeing the Virani parivaar back in Shanti Niketan. Another promo has released, where we see Amar Upadhyay talking about his return as Mihir. He shared that it is a big thing to bring back an iconic show like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

When he got the call for Mihir, he could not believe it. He thought it was some prank call. However, the first thing he asked the makers was if Smriti Irani will be back as Tulsi and they said yes. Amar Upadhyay immediately agreed to do Mihir again.

He further spoke about working with Smriti again. He added that he and Smriti shared a good bond on the sets and they have been very good friends. They started off from where they left. He further said that he will not say anything more and the audience will have to wait for July 29. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.

The show will have many original cast members like Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Shakti Anand, Karishma Tanna, Mouni Roy, Shilpa Agnihotri, Pulkit Samrat, Rakshanda Khan, Sandeep Baswana and others.. Barkha Bisht will also be joining the show. Her character details are not out yet. There will be new actors too. Shagun Sharma, Rohit Suchanti, Aman Gandhi, Nidhi Shah, Tanisha Mehta and others have been finalised.
