The entire nation was emotionally attached to the show. One incident in Tulsi’s life affected everyone. When Mihir died, all women cried. The impact was huge and now, when the show is announced again, we see the same kind of love. The show is starting from July 29. Tulsi and her Virani family is returning. Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay are back as Tulsi-Mihir. In the promos, we saw a new and changed Tulsi in Shanti Niketan. Smriti’s return as Tulsi has been an emotional moment for many. Smriti Irani on rumours of her retirement
When she announced her return as Tulsi, there were rumours that she is retiring from politics. She has now opened up about these rumours in an interview with India Today. She said, “Who retires at 49. People’s careers do not even start at 49. I have been an MP thrice, I have been a minister of three departments. There is still a long way to go.”
She added that she does not know when and where the party will turn and what responsibility it will give. However, she knows that through parliament she has established her ability. She has done politics of dharnas for 10 years and has also served a sentence in jail. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
The actress was further asked what made her return to acting after a successful journey in politics. She simply said that it was her wish and she has always been like that. She explained that people do not have choices but she did and its not her nature to live life in a subtle way.
Talking about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, apart from Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, many original cast members like Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Shakti Anand, Karishma Tanna, Mouni Roy, Shilpa Agnihotri, Pulkit Samrat, Rakshanda Khan, Sandeep Baswana and others are a part of the show. New actors like Shagun Sharma, Rohit Suchanti, Aman Gandhi, Nidhi Shah, Tanisha Mehta and others have also joined. Barkha Bisht recent confirmed that she is a part of this iconic show.
