Ibrahim Ali Khan‘s second movie Sarzameen has opted for direct-to-OTT release. The movie that also stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran is now streaming on JioHotstar. The movie is a patriotic drama directed by Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani. It is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film sees Prithviraj Sukumaran playing Colonel Vijay Menon, Kajol plays his wife Meher and Ibrahim Ali Khan is their son Harman Menon. The plot revolves around Harman being involved in terrorist activities and Vijay-Meher being torn between love for son and the nation. As the movie is out on OTT, netizens are sharing their reviews.
As of now, Sarzameen has received mixed to decent reviews from viewers. Some of them have found the plot of Ibrahim Ali Khan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol’s movie quite gripping and engaging. Among all three, it is Kajol who has received the most amount of appreciation. The actress has managed to impress all with her impactful acting chops. One of the reviews of the film read, “Kajol, Prithviraj acted greatly & even Ibrahim acted decent. Kayoze directed a beautiful, emotionally driven family film. This will definitely touch hearts.” Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s chemistry is also being lauded by fans. The unexpected climax is also that has left fans quite surprised. Sarzameen is Ibrahim Ali Khan’s second movie after Nadaaniyan. Though his debut film failed to establish him as a good actor, Sarzameen has managed to bring spotlight on his acting chops.
