Over the years, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has developed a huge following and experienced his share of insane fan situations. He recently disclosed how a fan had left him property valued at an astounding Rs 72 crore before she died, along with what he did with the sum. When asked if it was true that a female admirer had given him a huge fortune before her death in 2018, Dutt responded in the affirmative during an interview with Curly Tales. He then disclosed that he gave the money back to her family. He shared, “I gave it back to her family.”

The son of iconic actors Sunil and Nargis Dutt, Sanjay Dutt made his Bollywood debut in 1981 with the movie Rocky and quickly rose to fame. Over the years, he starred in movies like Vaastav, Khal Nayak, Saajan, Naam, and Vidhaata, making him one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood.

However, he was detained under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) for unlawfully possessing firearms connected to the 1993 Bombay bombings, which severely damaged his career.
He was later found guilty under the Arms Act and given a five-year prison term. He eventually served his entire jail sentence in 2016 as a result of numerous bails and paroles.

Recently, Dutt has started signing movies, and in 2025 alone, he has five films signed. Two of them, Housefull 5 and The Bhootnii, have already hit theatres, but he still has Akhanda 2, Dhurandhar, and The RajaSaab coming out later this year. He will also be the lead in the Kannada movie KD: The Devil, which is scheduled for release the following year.
