Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starring Dilip Joshi and others has been entertaining the masses for seventeen-long years. The comedy drama that revolves around the life of Jethalal and his friends manages to tickle funny bones of the audience. Recently, the makers held a huge celebration to mark the completion of seventeen years. While the show has been hit and is known for its humour, there have been a few controversies that has put TMKOC in bad light. Actress Jennifer Mistry who played the role of Mrs Sodhi made some serious allegations against producer Asit Kumar Modi. In her recent interview, she also spoke about her equation with cast members.
Jennifer Mistry talks about her equation with Dilip Joshi
In an interview with entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Jennifer Mistry spoke about the connection she shared with Dilip Joshi. She said that she shared a good equation with him, however, they are not in contact any more. She mentioned after she filed a case against the makers, Dilip Joshi did not reach out to her, neither did she. “Jis din se mai nikli hu, unse koi contact nahi hai. Na unhone kiya na maine kiya,” she said. Stating that she misses him, Jennifer Mistry shared that she always had good conversations with Dilip Joshi especially about English web series. She added that he would give good recommendations and she started watching TV only after his recommendation.
Dilip Joshi is a ‘professional’
Jennifer Mistry further appreciated Dilip Joshi for being a thorough professional. She explained that Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal would not mind giving his dialogues and lines to anybody else if he believed that the person would be able to deliver it better than him. Jennifer also said that Dilip Joshi does not get involved in anyone’s problems. “Jitna mai jaanti hu shuru se, voh kabhi bhi kisi ke bhi lafde mai nahi padte,” she said.
Jennifer Mistry has accused Asit Kumar Modi of alleged sexual harassment. In the interview, she revealed the incidents and events that led her to filing the case.
