Bandai Namco announced that it has launched a Hatsune Miku Festival event in Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival. The company adds nine new songs performed by Miku while holding a time-limited opportunity for players to obtain chibi character mascots based on the Vocaloids.
The nine new songs added will all appear exclusively via the Taiko Music Pass subscription. The songs in question are as follows:
- “Monitoring” by DECO*27
- “Mimukauwa Nice Try”
- “Tale of the Deep-sea Lily” by n-buna
- “Dune” by Hachi
- “Love Me, Love Me, Love Me” by Kikuo
- “Love Trial” by 40mP
- “Kagerou Daze” by Jin
- “The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku”
- “Rollin Girl” by Wowaka
In addition, Bandai Namco launched a limited opportunity where players can obtain chibi mascots of Miku, Rin, Len, and Luka that can accompany Don or Katsu by playing a specified Vocaloid song by November 19, 2025. A special animation featuring the Vocaloids will also appear in single-player mode throughout the same duration.

Those who do not subscribe to Taiko Music Pass or purchase any DLC can still get the chibi mascots by playing one of the following three songs available in the game by default:
- “Loki” by Mikito-P feat. Kagamine Rin
- “Tell Me Beat” by Kinoshita feat. Kagamine Rin
- “Colorful Voice” by cosMo@Bousou-P
Bandai Namco has also launched a survey asking players of popular Vocaloid songs performed by Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, or Megurine Luka. It will eventually add the most voted songs to the Taiko Music Pass. This survey runs throughout the entirety of August 2025, and it will close on August 31, 2025.
A new Japanese trailer for the Hatsune Miku Festival event has also appeared on the Taiko no Tatsujin series’ official YouTube channel:
Taiko no Tatsujin: Dondaful Festival is alternatively known outside Japan as Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival. It is readily available worldwide on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
