96th Blessing of the Fleet, Biloxi Mississippi, July 6, 2025
The Blessing of the Fleet ceremony kicks off shrimping season. Find out who will be crowned 2025 Shrimp Queen and Shrimp King, view dozens of decorated shrimp boats and watch them receive their blessing, and join the other Blesing of the Fleet activities at the Shrimp Festival on Harrah’s Great Lawn.

97th International Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo, Grand Isle Louisiana, July 24 – 26, 2025
Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo is the oldest fishing tournament in the United States. 2025 marks the 97th annual Tarpon Rodeo. Activities supporting the fishing action include food vendors, arts, crafts, crab racing, and artisans.

85th Annual TIFT (Texas International Fishing Tournament), South Padre Texas, July 30 – Aug 3, 2025
The sparkling waters of the Laguna Madre Bay and Gulf of Mexico, Port Isabel, and South Padre Island host Texas’ largest saltwater fishing tournament—the Texas International Fishing Tournament (TIFT). TIFT offers the best of bay and offshore fishing to enthusiasts of all ages. TIFT attracts as many as 1,500 anglers and more than 500 boats during its two days of fishing activities.
